Yazidis Definition

A member of an ethno-religious community originating in Mesopotamia, also known as Yazidism, a syncretic religion encompassing elements of various religious traditions such as Zoroastrianism, Islam, and Christianity. Members of this community follow strict religious practices and are noted for a unique pantheon of deities, most prominently Malak Taus (Peacock Angel).
