In particle physics, an anti-hyperon is a particle that is the antiparticle counterpart of a hyperon. Hyperons are subatomic particles that contain at least one strange quark or one of its antiquark partners. The term includes particles such as the Lambda-baryon and Sigma-baryon (including their isospin partners) with one or more strange quarks, or their corresponding hyperons.
